GDIT is seeking a senior-level DevOps Cloud Engineer with TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance to ensure mission continuity. This role involves partnering with a software development team to deliver enterprise-grade system support within an AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, containerization, Terraform, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include sharing knowledge, guiding best practices, and supporting team growth. The position is located onsite in McLean, VA.

**HOW A DEVOPS CLOUD ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT**
We are seeking a senior-level DevOps Cloud Engineer to partner with a software development team and deliver enterprise‑grade system support. The ideal candidate should be skilled in cloud engineering but also capable of sharing knowledge, guiding best practices, and supporting the growth of other team members.
This role requires proficiency in one or more of the following areas:

  • Java application integration
  • Java enterprise services
  • CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps practices within the customer’s AWS environment

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED**

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT discipline. Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Experience: 5+ years
  • Required technical skills:
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies
  • Proficiency with Terraform
  • Experience building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines
  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Desired skills:
  • Familiarity with AWS Nitro architecture
  • Location: McLean, VA - on customer site

The likely salary range for this position is $138,063 - $186,791. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
