Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a Data Engineer Intern located in New York, NY. The intern will support the design, development, and implementation of data engineering workflows and processes. Primary responsibilities include building and optimizing data models, executing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines, managing data warehousing solutions, and assisting with data analytics projects. While the position is based in New York, some remote work flexibility is provided.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Data Engineering and experience designing scalable systems
  • Knowledge of Data Modeling and schema design
  • Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools
  • Familiarity with Data Warehousing systems and architectures
  • Ability to perform Data Analytics and derive actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java is a plus
  • Working toward a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
