Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a Frontend Engineer Intern based in San Diego, CA, with opportunities for partial remote work. The intern will assist in creating visually appealing, responsive user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain web applications. Responsibilities include implementing frontend features, optimizing web pages for performance, and contributing to the overall user experience. Additional tasks may include debugging, testing, and ensuring compatibility across different browsers and devices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Front-End Development, Responsive Web Design, and crafting user-friendly interfaces
  • Basic understanding of Back-End Web Development and integrating front-end with back-end services
  • Knowledge of Web Development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience or interest in learning broader Software Development practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in emerging web technologies and trends is a plus
  • Previous internship or academic projects in web development are a bonus
