Role summary
Georgia Pacific is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Experience Specialist to be the first point of contact for clients and partners. This role acts as a liaison between sales, customers, and internal departments, ensuring quality customer service, accurate order entry, and managing disputes. The position reports to the Director of Sales Transformation and operates on a hybrid model in downtown Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities include managing calls, entering customer and order data in Salesforce and SAP, collaborating with sales, supporting dispute reporting, performing account reconciliations, and utilizing economic thinking for business analysis. Basic qualifications include an Associate's Degree or 1+ years of related experience, excellent communication skills, a proactive and customer-focused mindset, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

This position acts as a primary liaison between our sales team, customers, and internal departments. The Customer Experience Specialist creates value by ensuring quality customer service, accurate pricing and order entry, and managing customer disputes.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Sales Transformation. We are located at GP HQ in downtown Atlanta, GA. We offer a schedule of remote work and 3 days in the office a week. What You Will Do
- Manage and optimize incoming calls, transforming each interaction into a valued experience. Serve as a key link between clients and sales professionals, fostering strong relationships and smooth communication.
- Accurately enter and maintain customer data and order information in the company’s systems (Salesforce, SAP), ensuring that all details are captured with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate closely with sales to ensure smooth coordination and execution of customer orders.
- Provide day-to-day support for operational dispute reporting to help the Accounts Receivable (AR) team maintain accurate records and accelerate collections.
- Work with excel based reports to perform basic account reconciliation and escalate discrepancies for resolution.
- Approach customer account issues with an entrepreneurial mindset, identifying root causes, proposing solutions, and resolving issues promptly.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Associates Degree OR 1+ years related work experience
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying ideas to diverse audiences
- A proactive and customer-focused mindset
- Highly motivated self-starter; constantly working proactively to identify process improvements
- Collaborative team player
- Economic thinking / critical thinking / problem solving skills Requirements: (yes or no - check the box)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite products with an emphasis on Excel

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- SAP or Salesforce experience
