Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced
Big Data Engineer
to join our client’s team in a hybrid role based in New York City. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with large-scale data systems and NoSQL databases, and will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems.
- Work with NoSQL databases, including
MongoDB
and
Apache Cassandra
.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for big data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure data performance, scalability, and reliability across platforms.
- Implement best practices for data architecture and data management.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in
Big Data
technologies.
- Hands-on experience with
MongoDB
.
- Experience working with
Apache Cassandra
.
- Experience with distributed data systems and large datasets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of data pipeline and ETL frameworks.
• Prior experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
