GEOSPACE is a startup out of Minneapolis, doing exciting work with 3D for the real estate industry. We are focused and thoughtful, with new perspectives on acquiring, transforming, and applying data in this space unlike anyone before us. The Role

We're seeking an exceptional Lead Frontend Engineer to join our team and drive the development of sophisticated, interactive, high-performance web applications. In this role, you'll lead frontend architecture decisions and build out 3D and 2D modeling interfaces, in addition to bespoke AI model training capabilities built into the user experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and development of complex frontend applications and features
• Drive technical strategy and make key decisions on frontend architecture and tooling
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Champion best practices in testing, CI/CD, and deployment workflows
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and advocate for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Deep and broad experience in frontend design and development
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Extensive experience with Angular or React and NgRx or Redux for state management
• Proven track record developing scalable, high-performance web applications
• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern backend integration patterns
• Local to the Twin Cities Metro area

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary:
$155,000 - $185,000 (based on experience), plus bonus
