Role summary

Goken is seeking an AI-Enabled Software Engineer to join a development team supporting a large-scale Automotive OEM. This role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering production-ready software solutions that integrate applied AI capabilities. The engineer will analyze and optimize existing development processes using AI integrations to improve efficiency and simplify workflows. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery of enterprise projects that integrate AI tools, libraries, or model APIs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of experience in software engineering and applied AI, proficiency in Python, and experience integrating AI into real-world projects.

Summary:

This role with support a largescale Automotive OEM to optimize development processes and improve efficiencies. This role is an AI‐Enabled Software Engineer who works within a development team to design, develop, and deliver software solutions that incorporate applied AI capabilities. This role focuses on execution and delivery of production‐ready solutions. The engineer will support enterprise projects that integrate AI tools, libraries, or model APIs, working closely with cross‐functional stakeholders to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing development/administrative processes to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and utilize AI enabled integrations to optimize and simplify workflows
  • Perform assigned duties independently and in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and applicable standards, including quality and safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain required records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering and applied AI.
  • Experience in Automotive industry, Infotainment, UI/UX development highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Python, including writing, modifying, and maintaining production‐quality code.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools, libraries, or model APIs into real‐world projects.
  • Ability to work productively with minimal supervision and follow established architecture and coding standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with cross‐functional teams.
  • Experience working in structured, production development environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, Bedrock) highly preferred.
  • Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, MLOps, enterprise data environments, or responsible AI practices.
