Data Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis tools and methodologies, with the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. The Data Analyst will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights, utilizing advanced analytics and visualization techniques to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other data analysis tools.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to visualize key metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and optimize databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design best practices.
• Support project management activities within Agile frameworks and SDLC methodologies to ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions.
• Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Write VBA scripts and Bash (Unix shell) scripts to automate data processing tasks.
• Maintain documentation of data models, workflows, and analysis procedures for transparency and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with data analysis tools such as R, Python, SQL Server, Oracle, and VBA.
• Strong expertise in visualization platforms including Tableau and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile project management principles, and business analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and database management systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Familiarity with Visio for process mapping and documentation purposes.
• Knowledge of Bash (Unix shell) scripting is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Pay: $66,124.07-$128,050.61 per year
