Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, Inc. is seeking an Employment Program Manager - Goodwill Community Cupboard Grocery Manager for the Beaufort County, NC Area. This role oversees the operations of the Goodwill Community Cupboard – Aurora, ensuring the success of a hybrid pay-what-you-can and retail food market. Responsibilities include supervising non-exempt staff, managing food safety compliance, inventory, and financial controls, and fostering a positive customer experience. The position requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in retail or grocery, and a ServSafe certification. The role is full-time, onsite, with a salary of $52,000 per year plus benefits.

The Employment Program Manager - Goodwill Community Cupboard Grocery Manager oversees operations of the Goodwill Community Cupboard – Aurora, ensuring daily success of the hybrid pay-what-you-can and retail food market. The Employment Program Manager - Goodwill Community Cupboard Grocery Manager supervises all non-exempt staff, ensures compliance with food safety and organizational standards, manages inventory and financial controls, and fosters a dignified customer experience.
Qualifications
Associate degree preferred; bachelor's degree desirable. 1-3 years of supervisory experienced required; within retail or grocery preferred. ServSafe certification (or able to obtain in 90 days). Ability to lift 40lbs and stand for extended periods. Can work flexible hours. Must possess a valid NC Driver's License.
