Role summary

Google is seeking a Product Manager II for its Search App on iOS. This role involves guiding consumer mobile products from conception to launch, connecting user journeys into a cohesive experience, and driving a culture of excellence. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, and research teams to evolve the app, incorporating AI capabilities and simplifying the user interface. This is a hybrid, full-time position with a salary range of $163,000-$237,000 annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

### Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • Experience working in consumer mobile apps.

### Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of design in iOS apps.
  • Ability to define metrics, analyze experiments, generate insights, and communicate results to the wider organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ## Responsibilities

  • Lead the evolution of the app into a cohesive experience by connecting user journeys into a singular, focused narrative.
  • Drive a culture of excellence by prioritizing roadmaps that simplify interactions and maintain high iOS fidelity.
  • Drive strategic simplification of the app’s hierarchy and UI primitives to ensure a consistent model for all users.
  • Implement a unified design system to systematically eliminate UI inconsistencies and maintain visual alignment.
  • Serve as the primary conduit between engineering, UX, and research to execute a iOS strategy focused on long-term quality.
