Role summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with native-level English proficiency to serve in a consultant capacity. The role requires expertise in ETLs, analytics, data engineering, data architecture, Python, and SQL. You will leverage disparate datasets, particularly from sales, marketing, legislative, regulatory, or geospatial domains, and transform data for self-service visualization. Experience incorporating LLM calls into workflows and designing scalable systems with robust data structures and algorithms is essential. You will also define system architectures, analyze technical trade-offs, and communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders. Experience with various database technologies, data warehousing solutions, workflow management tools, and cloud platforms is expected.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can speak native level of English. I don't care the developer's location, but native level of English is mandatory because this role is mainly consultant role.

Requirements

  • Expertise in ETLs, analytics, data engineering and data architecture
  • Expertise in Python
  • Expertise in SQL
  • Speak Native level of English
  • Experience leveraging disparate data sets, in particular sales or marketing operations/legislative/regulatory/geospatial
  • Expertise in transforming data to be leveraged for self-service data visualization resources
  • Experience incorporating LLM calls into workflows and data pipelines
  • Talent for breaking down complex technical concepts into common language and acting as a bridge between technical and departmental stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in the building and deploying of scalable, highly available systems
  • Data engineering, ETL development, or data management role
  • SQL and experience with database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Data pipeline and workflow management tools (Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory)
  • Defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs for optimizing short term execution while planning for long term technical capabilities
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective data services

Pay: $10.00 - $25.00 per hour
