Job Description:
Reporting to the Global IT Project Manager, the person will be responsible for implementing data analytic projects/business requirement using Microsoft Power BI, providing Power BI related guidance / trainings, support to end users, managing and monitoring Power BI workspaces.
Main Responsibilities
- Go-to person for any Power BI/Data analytic related queries, conduct Power BI end user trainings whenever required
- As part of Power BI support team, reinforce Power BI governance policy, responsible for creating workspace, managing user permissions, adjusting workspace settings
- Gather and document user requirement, perform solution prototyping when needed, implement Power BI datasets/reports/dashboard to fulfill business need
- Document analytical processes and data sets for predictive and prescriptive analysis
- Automate fundamental data processing processes
- Manage and work closely with various stakeholders (e.g., end users, senior management, and external vendors), able to exceed stakeholders’ expectations
- Recommend ways to improve data quality, process improvement and understand business value relationships
- Translate advanced business analytics problems into technical approaches that yield actionable recommendations
Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer Science, data Analytics, business intelligence, mathematics or statistics
- Preferred certifications Power BI Data Analyst Microsoft
Experience
- 5 years of data/business analyst experience and 3 years of reporting
- Well-versed with Microsoft Power Platform, especially be SME in Power BI
Skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI
- Perfect knowledge of SQL, familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, data processing automation, predictive and prescriptive analytics
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Be proactive and have good work attitude
- Self-sufficient with good time management skills
- Able to effectively communicate complex technical information to a broad array of team members and stakeholders
- Good English language skills, both written and spoken
