Job Description:
Reporting to the Global IT Project Manager, the person will be responsible for implementing data analytic projects/business requirement using Microsoft Power BI, providing Power BI related guidance / trainings, support to end users, managing and monitoring Power BI workspaces.
Main Responsibilities

  • Go-to person for any Power BI/Data analytic related queries, conduct Power BI end user trainings whenever required
  • As part of Power BI support team, reinforce Power BI governance policy, responsible for creating workspace, managing user permissions, adjusting workspace settings
  • Gather and document user requirement, perform solution prototyping when needed, implement Power BI datasets/reports/dashboard to fulfill business need
  • Document analytical processes and data sets for predictive and prescriptive analysis
  • Automate fundamental data processing processes
  • Manage and work closely with various stakeholders (e.g., end users, senior management, and external vendors), able to exceed stakeholders’ expectations
  • Recommend ways to improve data quality, process improvement and understand business value relationships
  • Translate advanced business analytics problems into technical approaches that yield actionable recommendations

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer Science, data Analytics, business intelligence, mathematics or statistics
  • Preferred certifications Power BI Data Analyst Microsoft

Experience

  • 5 years of data/business analyst experience and 3 years of reporting
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Power Platform, especially be SME in Power BI

Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Power BI
  • Perfect knowledge of SQL, familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, data processing automation, predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Be proactive and have good work attitude
  • Self-sufficient with good time management skills
  • Able to effectively communicate complex technical information to a broad array of team members and stakeholders
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
