Position Responsibilities
**Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid in Des (Need local only)
Duration : 6 months**
Project:
- Going to be supporting their corporate accounting and systems that they utilize as they go through a modernization
- Be responsible for keeping current system business as usual
- Support vendor systems and home-grown integrations
Technical Skills:
- REQUIRED: Python, Java, GIT, AWS, SQL and API experience
- Nice to have: informatica, JCL, and COBOL, DB experience, any experience with the oracle EPM suite
Soft skills:
- Can jump between technology, be flexible, help team support tickets
- Experience working in financial systems (Any sort of financial domain knowledge will be great)
- Strong communication, really collaborative team
- Not going to be able to spend a ton of time onboarding this person, so needs to be able to jump in right away
- Knowing when they feel strong enough to make judgment calls, research and problem solve on their own
Team size:
- 3 people onshore, 4 offshore people (mix of home office and India)
- Bonus if this person has offshore working exp
- Have a delivery manager in the home office, helps run ceremonies , and then a product manager as well
