Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst/Engineer with 1–4 years of experience (or equivalent hands-on exposure) to join our growing security team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and practical experience in monitoring security events, handling incidents, and supporting vulnerability management. This role offers an opportunity to further develop technical expertise while working with enterprise-level security tools and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and escalate when needed.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and track remediation efforts.
  • Analyze logs from systems, firewalls, and endpoints.
  • Support implementation of security controls and policies.
  • Assist in identity and access management activities.
  • Maintain documentation for incidents, audits, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or IT security.
  • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (threats, vulnerabilities, risk).
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments.
  • Experience or exposure to SIEM or security monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with tools like Splunk, Wireshark, Nessus, or similar.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (or pursuing).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python/PowerShell).
  • Cloud fundamentals (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
