We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. This role focuses on supporting data pipeline development and data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SQL and programming, with exposure to cloud platforms and ETL processes. You will collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to ensure efficient data operations and reporting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to support data pipeline development and data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL and programming, with exposure to cloud platforms and ETL processes. You will work closely with senior engineers and analysts to ensure smooth data operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data.
  • Support data integration from multiple sources.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business teams for reporting needs.
  • Document data processes and workflows.

Required Skills:

  • 1–3 years of experience in data engineering or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and basic Python.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data pipelines.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with tools like Spark, Airflow, or similar (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
  • Understanding of data modeling basics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
