Preferred qualifications include licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), strengthening the ability to navigate complex clinical needs.

Proficiency in reporting and documentation systems, combined with excellent public speaking and communication skills, will enable you to build meaningful partnerships with service providers and the broader community, ultimately expanding access to care and improving lives.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Master's Degree in the Behavioral Sciences, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services, with considerable experience in providing treatment and counseling to persons living with substance abuse disorders.
  • Virginia is licensed as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
