Role summary

Millennium Space Systems is seeking a Space Mission Program Manager to lead and organize engineering, manufacturing, and test activities for complex satellite missions. The role requires ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery, maintaining project documentation (schedules, risks, budgets), and reporting to executive teams and customers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience, including 5 years in high-complexity systems development and experience with rapid development projects and U.S. Government customers. The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is mandatory. This is an onsite role focused on program management within the aerospace industry.

  • Lead and organize internal and external engineering, manufacturing, and test activities.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of projects.
  • Maintain schedules, risk lists, procurement plans, and budgets.
  • Report regularly to the Millennium Executive team and customers.
  • Track internal and external deliverables and prepare progress reviews.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers to meet requirements and milestones.
  • Manage complex systems development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in developing high-complexity systems.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with rapid development projects and U.S. Government customers.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Concept-to-launch experience on satellite missions.
