Family Law Paralegal

We are a well-established law firm with over 30 years of service in the Jacksonville area. Our team includes 13 attorneys, and you will work closely with 1–2 attorneys on all aspects of their family law cases. Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in managing family law cases from intake through final judgment or settlement
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence
• Prepare financial affidavits, mandatory disclosure documents, and child support guidelines worksheets
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and experts
• Maintain case files and calendars, including deadlines for hearings, mediations, and trials
• Assist with trial preparation, mediation summaries, and hearing exhibits

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in family law
• Familiarity with Florida family law procedures and e-filing systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software (e.g., Needles, Clio, or similar)

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required)

• Criminal Law experience (2-5 years)
• Spanish Speaking
• Knowledge of local court practices and judicial preferences in the 4th Judicial Circuit
