Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in a remote, contract-based role. The Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data solutions to support business intelligence needs. Responsibilities will include building and managing data pipelines, creating and optimizing data models, implementing ETL processes, and maintaining data warehouses. The role will also support analytics teams in delivering accurate and structured data for decision-making, while ensuring data integrity and performance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Engineering, including handling large-scale datasets and building data architectures
• Experience with Data Modeling and working on structured and unstructured data
• Strong understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and practices in Dev & Prod environments
• Familiarity with Data Analytics to support reporting and business insights
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL
• create clear technical documentation, including runbooks and SOPs, to ensure long-term maintainability of analytics solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
