Software Design Engineer | On-site | $58.51 - $64.38 per hour

The Role

• Design, implement, test, and ship Windows and Linux client/OS components for monitoring, diagnostics, and reliability.

• Translate customer and partner requirements into technical designs and production-ready solutions.

• Build for high availability, performance, security, and operability, including telemetry, logging, and alerting.

• Develop and maintain Linux-based components to monitor and diagnose service health and infrastructure.

• Drive engineering best practices such as code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testing.

What You'll Need

• Experience in designing, implementing, and testing software components for Windows and Linux environments.

• Strong understanding of security practices, including fixing code vulnerabilities.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing durable fixes for production issues.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and standard engineering lifecycle practices.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and adapt to fast-paced project requirements.
