We're working with a leading global defense and intelligence consultancy on this exciting opportunity to solve high-stakes challenges across national security and global health. Use your expertise in Python, machine learning, and predictive modeling to unlock secrets within massive, disparate datasets and drive mission-critical decision-making.

As a Data Scientist, you will sit at the intersection of AI innovation and real-world impact. You’ll be tasked with transforming structured and unstructured data—ranging from fraud detection patterns to cancer research—into objective answers for elite clients in both the private and public sectors.

The Role

• Lead data exploration and mining initiatives to find the "information puzzle" pieces within complex, data-rich client environments.

• Develop and deploy custom algorithms and automated analytic software using Python, R, and SQL to solve global challenges.

• Build robust ETL pipelines and data schemas, leveraging APIs to ingest and condition data for large-scale analysis.

• Create high-impact data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, ArcGIS, and libraries such as Seaborn or Matplotlib.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning methods and predictive modeling into production-ready systems.

What You'll Need

• Active TS/SCI Clearance (TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or Computer Science (or 4+ years of relevant experience).

• Deep proficiency in statistical programming (Python, R, SQL) and version control tools like Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

• Proven experience in ETL pipeline creation, querying APIs, and designing schemas for complex data storage.

• Strong knowledge of machine learning methods and the ability to design sophisticated automated analytic techniques.

• Bonus points for experience with Intelligence Community data (GEOINT, OSINT, SIGINT) and DevOps/CI/CD workflows using Jenkins.
