The Role
- Design, build, and execute AI-augmented automated test suites across UI and API layers to ensure high-performance software delivery.
- Leverage cutting-edge AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini to generate test cases, improve automation logic, and analyze complex failures.
- Develop and maintain robust automation scripts and lightweight frameworks using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Enhance SDET capabilities by working on modular test design, reusable utilities, and integrating test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform deep-dive debugging by reviewing application logs and stack traces to identify root causes in a high-scale production environment.
What You'll Need
- Current status as an undergraduate Junior (entering Senior year in Summer 2026) pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Solid foundational programming skills in at least one language: Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Exposure to modern UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium and a firm grasp of REST API testing.
- A passion for AI-enhanced software development and the ability to use LLMs to accelerate scripting and defect triage.
- Strong analytical thinking and a desire to learn complex SDET skills like framework design and modular coding best practices.
