Step into a pivotal role where you will secure DoD Command and Control (C2) infrastructure using advanced network security protocols and big data analytics. You'll leverage hands-on expertise in Cisco and Juniper environments to outpace advanced threats and implement robust defensive controls for military-grade systems.
The Role
- Engineer and implement enterprise-scale cybersecurity controls, focusing on enhanced detection, vulnerability management, and event correlation.
- Lead deep-dive risk and vulnerability assessments across complex network, system, and application architectures.
- Utilize big data analytics and security telemetry to hunt for indicators of compromise (IoC) and neutralize advanced persistent threats.
- Manage and optimize critical infrastructure using Cisco and Juniper routing and switching technologies to ensure 99.9% availability for DoD missions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate complex technical security risks into actionable strategy and mission success.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in IP networking, including advanced routing, switching, and IT network design/deployment.
- Technical proficiency in performing end-to-end vulnerability assessments in high-stakes, large-scale enterprise environments.
- Hands-on familiarity with Cisco (CCNA/CCNP preferred) or Juniper (JNCIA/JNCIS preferred) hardware and security configurations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and the clear ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical execution and executive-level security objectives.
