Role summary

A leading provider of engineered services and products for harsh environments (subsea to space) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This hybrid role focuses on applying knowledge of the software lifecycle, including design, writing, and integration. Responsibilities include leading small subgroups, interfacing with leads to resolve issues, creating and maintaining project documentation (CDRLs), managing requirements, and supporting software testing in various environments. The engineer will also prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders. A BS degree in STEM or equivalent experience, 2+ years of C# software lifecycle engineering experience, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 are required. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

The Role

• Apply working knowledge of the software lifecycle, focusing on design, writing, and integrating software.

• Create and maintain project Critical Design Review List (CDRLs), including requirements management and various stages of software testing.

• Support software testing in various environments, including factory, offsite, and offshore.

• Prepare reports and present results to key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress and findings.

What You'll Need

• BS Degree in a STEM discipline or commensurate experience.

• 2+ years of C# software lifecycle engineering experience.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 environment.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Government Department of Defense Security Clearance.

• Must be a US citizen.
