As an Associate Design & Analysis Engineer, you will jump into the heart of Phantom Works and Fixed-Wing programs, developing the hardware and software systems that keep advanced aircraft in the sky. You’ll leverage MATLAB, Simulink, and real-time operating systems to build sophisticated simulation labs and test environments for mission-critical flight controls.
The Role

  • Design and develop electrical schematics and cabling for high-performance test hardware and automated test stations.
  • Integrate complex hardware systems with real-time software environments to evaluate system performance in simulation labs.
  • Drive the verification and validation (V&V) process for Vehicle Management Systems (VMS), ensuring hardware meets rigorous operational requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and solve engineering challenges across the entire product lifecycle, from initial design to fielded hardware.
  • Operate advanced electronic test equipment and write scripts for automated testing to streamline system validation.

What You'll Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical preferred), Computer Science, or Physics.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting electronics and complex electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into functional hardware designs and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink, or experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
  • An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or one that has been active within the last 24 months).
