Role summary

A U.S. private mortgage insurance provider is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain data ingestion and integration pipelines using cloud services, primarily AWS and IICS. The role involves implementing application-to-application integrations, APIs, and cloud data movement patterns, as well as developing reusable frameworks and operational runbooks. The Role

• Design, build, and maintain data ingestion and integration pipelines using cloud services.

• Implement and support application-to-application integrations, APIs, and cloud data movement patterns.

• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and application owners to create scalable integration solutions.

• Build reusable integration frameworks, data movement templates, and operational runbooks.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines, ensuring they meet enterprise standards for quality, security, reliability, and performance.

• Contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews, design reviews, and enhancing development standards.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data integration or data engineering.

• Proven experience building integrations using various AWS services.

• Strong experience with IICS (Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration).

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like CodeBuild/CodePipeline or GitHub Actions/GitLab.

• Experience developing data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Snowflake.

• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data ingestion, data preparation, and data integration patterns.
