We're working with a premier global defense and intelligence consultancy on this exciting opportunity. If you are passionate about safeguarding national security infrastructure using Zero Trust architectures and cutting-edge data protection tools, this is your next career-defining move.
This role puts you at the heart of mission-critical security, where you'll architect and deploy robust data defense solutions for DoD and IC clients. You will leverage high-impact tools like Varonis, Forcepoint, and Purview to ensure positive control of sensitive data across complex hybrid cloud environments.
The Role

  • Architect, deploy, and configure advanced data security solutions adhering to Zero Trust best practices and IC data header guidelines.
  • Design and implement custom policies to manage data flow and security across hybrid cloud systems and federal infrastructures.
  • Interface directly with agency stakeholders and internal engineering teams to translate complex mission requirements into technical reality.
  • Create detailed technical documentation and architectural diagrams for sophisticated data security posture management (DSPM) environments.
  • Support the integration of containerization solutions and attribute-based access control (ABAC) to modernize federal data protection.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of professional experience designing and configuring enterprise-grade data security solutions.
  • Hands-on expertise with DSPM tools (Varonis, BigID) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platforms like Forcepoint, Trellix, or Symantec.
  • Proven experience with data labeling and tagging technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Fortra, or Titus.
  • Strong technical documentation skills with the ability to diagram complex security architectures for military and civilian federal clients.
  • Active Secret clearance and a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity or IT preferred).
