The Role

• Lead technical strategy and architecture for multiple teams, defining roadmaps and framing solutions for complex challenges.

• Mentor and develop engineering talent, driving process improvements and coaching less experienced team members.

• Design and deliver complex, cross-functional solutions that address significant risks and roadblocks.

• Champion operational excellence through automation, leading support efforts, and resolving root causes of issues.

• Influence cross-team collaboration, translating business needs into technical designs and building consensus.

• Deliver high-quality, scalable software using expertise in agile methodologies and test-driven design.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• 5+ years of programming experience in at least one general-purpose programming language.

• 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.

• Proven experience as a mentor, tech lead, or in leading an engineering team.

• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
