The Role

• Conduct data analytics, engineering, mining, and statistical analysis to create narrative products for informed decision-making.

• Design and build data management systems, optimizing architectures and collaborating with data users.

• Select and configure backend database technologies and optimize scalable data pipelines for various data types.

• Implement automated processes for integrating datasets, conducting scalable data research, and developing efficient scripts.

• Collaborate with collection managers and computer scientists to design new data processes and algorithms for automated strategies.

• Provide advice and resolve issues in briefings, meetings, and working groups, supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and database design principles.

• Proficiency in relational databases, SQL, API-based data querying, and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).

• Experience developing predictive algorithms, image classifiers, object detectors, and other data science solutions.

• Skilled in major data science languages such as R and Python, with the ability to manage and merge disparate data sources.
