Help "harness the cloud" by bridging the gap between sophisticated on-premise data centers and modern virtualized environments. You will leverage DevOps methodologies to deploy high-availability infrastructure that supports the nation's most challenging missions using cutting-edge tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
The Role

• Engineer and provision automated on-premise data center environments focusing on server architecture, storage systems, and enterprise networking.
• Manage complex Windows and Linux server configurations while establishing virtual machines and networks within a DevOps framework.
• Implement CI/CD automation and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes to modernize legacy IT systems.
• Secure and harden physical and virtual infrastructure through rigorous patch management, configuration management, and system hardening protocols.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects to transition mission-critical workloads into hybrid-cloud environments using IaaS and application deployment automation.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in cyber-secure on-premise data center administration, including VMWare, Hyper-V, and high-availability server architecture.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes development.
• Active Top Secret security clearance (Required).
• DoD CompTIA 8570 Level 1 Certification.
• Proficiency in scripting and IaaS automation to support ITSM and configuration management processes.
