Data Visualization Analyst

We're working with a leading global defense and technology consultancy on this exciting opportunity. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data and mission-critical decision-making for national security.

As a senior-level analytics advisor, you will leverage high-performance tools like Tableau, SQL, and Power BI to protect the warfighter and modernize Department of Defense operations. You'll turn raw datasets into rich, interactive graphic visualizations that drive deep visibility and strategic insights at scale.

The Role

• Lead the design and modular development of sophisticated dashboards, user interfaces, and reporting objects using Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Power BI.

• Drive advanced data wrangling initiatives, including high-level data discovery, cleaning, structuring, and validation to ensure mission-ready accuracy.

• Partner with military stakeholders to translate mission requirements into actionable metrics, filters, charts, and hierarchical data models.

• Optimize visualization performance through expert tuning and user-centric design principles for high-stakes DoD environments.

• Integrate diverse data sources, including Big Data platforms and Data Warehouses, to create a unified operating picture for national security clients.

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of deep technical experience with Excel VBA, Power Query, or SQL for complex data manipulation.

• 5+ years of hands-on expertise building enterprise-grade visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.

• Proven ability to perform advanced data wrangling and problem-solving within complex, large-scale data ecosystems.

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance (previous experience with Navy systems like VAMOSC, DECKPLATE, or N-ERP is a major plus).

• Bachelor’s degree and the critical-thinking skills required to advise high-level government stakeholders.
