We're working with a pioneering aerospace collective building a global low-Earth orbit satellite network to bridge the digital divide on this exciting opportunity.

We are seeking a visionary technical leader to architect the mission-critical software systems that power satellite manufacturing at scale. You will lead an elite team of engineers to build high-performance data pipelines, IoT integrations, and hardware-software interfaces that ensure the reliability of next-generation space technology using AWS cloud infrastructure and real-time data analytics.

The Role

• Drive the technical roadmap for manufacturing systems engineering (MSE), leading the design and deployment of scalable software-to-hardware interfaces.

• Architect and implement robust solutions for environmental testing systems, including Thermal Vacuum Chamber (TVAC), Vibration Testing, and HASS protocols.

• Harness AWS Cloud services, IoT frameworks, and advanced data analytics to optimize production throughput and enhance operator safety.

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of rapid prototyping and technical excellence.

• Collaborate with cross-functional aerospace and production teams to transform complex business requirements into high-availability software deliverables.

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of professional engineering experience with at least 3+ years specifically in engineering management leading high-output teams.

• 8+ years of experience leading the definition and development of complex, multi-tier web services and distributed systems.

• Deep expertise in full-lifecycle development (SDLC), including high-standard coding, CI/CD build processes, and livesite operations.

• Proven experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• U.S. Person status (Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) is required due to export control regulations.
