A leading technology and engineering firm is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support critical government missions in national security. This hybrid role involves architecting, designing, building, and enhancing scalable, real-time systems. The developer will provide thought leadership across the software development lifecycle, work within an Agile/SecDevOps environment, and develop cloud-ready applications. Key requirements include 10+ years of experience (or equivalent with advanced degrees/experience in lieu of degree), proficiency in Java and JavaScript, experience with modern frontend frameworks, cloud development, and microservices. We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology and engineering firm supporting critical government missions. This employer is dedicated to delivering innovative digital solutions for complex national security challenges.

The Role

• Architect, design, build, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems.

• Provide hands-on thought leadership across the entire software development lifecycle, from estimation to deployment.

• Collaborate within an Agile environment, contributing to SecDevOps practices.

• Develop and implement cloud-ready applications, potentially migrating existing systems.

• Exercise judgment to recommend optimal designs based on business objectives and resource constraints.

• Support mission-critical programs, specifically screening and processing travelers at ports of entry.

What You'll Need

• BS/BA degree and 10+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 8+ years, or 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation and be a US Citizen.

• Strong experience with Agile Scrum methodology and SecDevOps environments.

• 3+ years in cloud-ready application development or migration, ideally with containerized applications.

• 2+ years of experience in Java, JSF, JavaScript, Spring, or automated testing tools like Selenium.

• Minimum 2 years in at least two of (React, Angular, Redux, HTML, CSS, JSX, Bootstrap, ES6, Redux, JWT, JSON, Babel, Webpack, Axios, NPM, Node).

• Proficient in Java and JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

• Experience with Microservices/RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT).
