The Role

• Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering, and product teams

• Design scalable firmware architecture for business growth

• Develop a forward-looking vision and lead requirements definition with hardware/software teams

• Coordinate with product development teams for the rollout and adoption of common libraries, services, and patterns

• Measurably improve code normalization across critical code concerns

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of professional software development experience

• 5+ years of experience in software design and development for embedded systems

• Availability to work outside standard business hours for collaboration across time zones

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

• Strong experience with embedded Linux configuration, development, BSPs, bootloaders, kernel, drivers, and application development in C/C++
