The Role

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements, translating business questions into effective data models.

• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and reliability.

• Design and optimize database schemas using medallion architecture, including relational, star schema, and denormalized datasets.

• Establish master data management and data modeling practices, ensuring data quality and historical context.

• Monitor and optimize data models for query performance and scalability, troubleshooting bottlenecks as needed.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling within a Lakehouse analytics environment.

• Deep familiarity with modern data modeling techniques, database management, and analytics platforms.

• Proficiency in a data modeling tool such as ER Studio and expert-level DDL and SQL development.

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., DataBricks, Spark, AWS, Azure) and DataBricks Delta tables, and Postgres.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with excellent communication abilities.
