Lead Software Engineer | Hybrid
We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology company that provides innovative software solutions to improve air traffic management. This organization is at the forefront of modernizing air traffic control, addressing critical challenges like runway and terminal congestion with cutting-edge technology.
The Role
• Resolve all build dependencies including software, COTS, and FOSS to achieve successful builds.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, identifying and facilitating timely resolutions.
• Monitor and manage source line of code (SLOC) growth by collaborating with development teams.
• Assist management in validating and reporting actual SLOC metrics at the end of each release.
• Own and manage the Build Release Plan, including feature movement between releases and processing engineering change requests.
• Lead Scrum of Scrums meetings to identify and remove impediments impacting the team's ability to meet build and release plans.
What You'll Need
• Proven experience as a Build Lead or in a similar software engineering leadership role.
• Strong understanding of build processes, dependency management, and release planning.
• Experience with managing software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly productive environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on air traffic programs or knowledge of air traffic control systems is highly desirable.
