Role summary
A global management and technology consultancy seeks a Data Scientist to drive innovation in national intelligence and public health. This role involves uncovering insights at the intersection of IoT, Machine Learning, and AI to solve complex global challenges. You will utilize Python, R, and cloud architectures to transform large datasets into actionable intelligence for critical client decisions. Responsibilities include developing advanced algorithms, working across the full data science lifecycle, communicating model results through visualizations, collaborating with clients, and supporting ethical AI development. A Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of experience in data science/ML/statistics, programming proficiency (Python, R, SQL), and cloud service experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) are required. A Secret security clearance is also necessary.

The Role
• Dig into data-rich environments to develop advanced algorithms and systems that solve complex information puzzles.
• Work across the full data science lifecycle, from merging and aggregating disparate datasets to feature selection and model deployment.
• Help bridge the gap between technical complexity and executive decision-making by communicating model results through compelling data visualizations.
• Collaborate with clients in highly connected sectors to identify requirements and provide objective, data-driven answers.
• Support the development of ethical AI and mission-driven analytics to create real-world impact across the private and public sectors.
What You'll Need
• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, data analytics, machine learning, or statistics.
• Proven proficiency in programming with Python, R, C++, or Java, alongside strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud services including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP).
• Proficiency in preparing and "cleaning" data for models, including handling anomalies and balancing datasets.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required (Master’s preferred).
• Familiarity with tools like Palantir (Foundry/AIP), Databricks, Tableau, PowerBI, or MLOps frameworks is a massive plus.
