The Role
• Architect, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines for various datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product owners to deliver innovative data solutions.
• Design, develop, deploy, and support high-performance inbound and outbound data pipelines.
• Model the data platform and build objects within its semantic layer, applying business logic.
• Leverage streaming technologies and cloud platforms for real-time data processing and analytics.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering team growth.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering solutions, including data platforms, ingestion, management, or analytics.
• 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery, Composer, and Dataflow.
• Expert knowledge of Python programming and SQL, with hands-on experience in real-time data ingestion.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services, as well as workflow management tools like Airflow.
• Familiarity with synthetic data generation, unstructured data processing, and AI/ML data pipelines.
