Junior Cybersecurity Engineer | Hybrid

The Role

• Perform cybersecurity authorization services and act as a primary contact for assigned information systems.

• Ensure systems are maintained according to security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

• Detect, mitigate, and respond to cyber incidents, correlating intelligence to adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.

• Support computer forensics, network and host analysis, and intrusion/threat hunting.

• Assist with secure configurations of AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP cloud environments.

• Support the development and maintenance of authorization artifacts in compliance with DoDI 8510.01 and NIST SP 800-53.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.

• Interim Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain a Secret clearance is mandatory.

• US citizenship.

• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2) certification.

• Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., Azure, SIEM, Endpoint & Cloud Security).

• Familiarity with incident response processes.
