This is a high-impact leadership role where you will architect the mission-critical hardware and software products that power the world's most advanced fighter aircraft, utilizing C++, RTOS, and cutting-edge cybersecurity frameworks.

As a technical authority, you won't just write code—you will own the end-to-end software strategy for airborne and ruggedized ground-support portfolios. You will drive innovation across secure data systems and high-throughput networking platforms, ensuring our defense technology remains ahead of the curve in mission-critical environments.

The Role

• Lead the architectural design and software strategy for complex aerospace programs, serving as the technical signatory for SRR, PDR, and CDR reviews.

• Architect secure, scalable embedded systems using C and C++ within Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environments.

• Drive cybersecurity excellence by implementing STIGs, RMF frameworks, secure boot, and encryption key management to protect sensitive mission data.

• Bridge the gap between disciplines, collaborating with FPGA, Electrical, and Systems Engineering teams to ensure cohesive hardware-software integration.

• Establish modern engineering standards, including CI/CD pipelines and automated verification strategies using tools like Coverity for static and dynamic analysis.

What You'll Need

• Several years of progressively responsible software engineering experience within highly regulated or mission-critical industries.

• Expert-level proficiency in C/C++, Embedded Linux, and Windows application development for ruggedized systems.

• Deep experience with high-speed data interfaces, networking stacks (TCP/IP, Ethernet, Fiber), and device driver development.

• Proven track record of leading products from initial concept through production deployment and long-term sustainment.

• Technical exposure to modern web stacks (Node.js, React, TypeScript) for system tooling and interface layers.
