We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology service provider within the automotive industry, supporting a vast portfolio of market-leading brands and empowering hundreds of engineering teams. This organization is at the forefront of software engineering transformation, driving innovation in AI-assisted development and creating optimized environments for rapid and confident software delivery.

The Role

• Own the end-to-end product engineering toolchain, from AI-native development tools to the core engineering ecosystem, data plane, monitoring, and secure cloud landing zone.

• Lead the strategic transformation toward AI-assisted and agentic engineering, optimizing human-agent collaboration in software development.

• Establish opinionated, self-service "paved roads" that enable hundreds of teams to move quickly without reinventing foundational infrastructure.

• Drive the roadmap for AI-native development tools and the engineering data plane, providing visibility into workload health and quality.

• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the entire Developer Platforms toolchain, including AI capabilities, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.

• Foster a culture of developer empathy, platform thinking, and continuous learning within the platform engineering organization.

What You'll Need

• 12+ years in software or platform engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing platform or developer experience functions at enterprise scale.

• Deep familiarity with modern engineering toolchains, including source control, artifact management, CI/CD, and container/Kubernetes environments.

• Proven track record of building or scaling an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) with self-service capabilities and developer portals.

• Demonstrated experience leading operational observability and monitoring toolchains for large-scale enterprises.

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and secure cloud landing zone design, preferably on AWS, including infrastructure-as-code.

• Experience implementing AI-augmented developer capabilities and a clear vision for AI's role in software development.
