Are you ready to safeguard critical missions by maintaining the backbone of spatial intelligence? We are looking for a Data Infrastructure Engineer to sustain high-stakes production applications and databases, utilizing expertise in SQL, ESRI GIS portals, and automated data pipelines to transform complex data into actionable insights for national security stakeholders.
The Role
• Lead the sustainment and troubleshooting of production RDBMS and ESRI GIS portals within a high-volume, mission-critical environment.
• Manage complex data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python or Shell scripting to ensure seamless information flow across enterprise systems.
• Maintain data standards and schema consistency for both traditional and geospatial datasets to support deep-target analytical missions.
• Perform database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and schema management for SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle environments.
• Identify and mitigate security risks while collaborating with DevOps teams to align technical roadmaps with evolving mission priorities.
What You'll Need
• Active U.S. Government TS/SCI Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph (Mandatory).
• 6+ years of professional experience in Database Administration (DBA) or Data Infrastructure engineering.
• Deep technical proficiency with RDBMS internals such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and experience with GIS data structures.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Perl for data integration and system automation.
• Proven track record in high-volume production support, ideally within a classified, DoD, or intelligence community environment.
