Role/Responsibilities:
The
Product Design Technical Program Manager (PD Engineering Program Manager)
will work closely with internal cross‑functional teams and external partners to drive critical aspects of product definition, execution, testing, and delivery. This role requires responsiveness, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in an open, collaborative environment.
Working within the Product Design team, the PD Engineering Program Manager is responsible for coordinating execution of the
Product Development Process (PDP)
across multiple programs, specifically for device enclosure and package design development of consumer electronics products. This role partners closely with Product Design teams, Hardware Program Managers, and Operations to ensure all process steps are properly planned, executed, and aligned to achieve smooth, reliable progress against target schedules.
The role also provides coordination and support within the Process Engineering team, including material distribution tracking, failure assessment responses, and documentation of lessons learned throughout project development.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Drive teams to meet PDP (Product Development Process) requirements
- Develop, maintain, and manage task‑based Product Design schedules
- Provide risk management and schedule optimization analysis
- Serve as the Product Design communication focal point with Core teams, overseas partners, and OEMs
- Drive and track enclosure material readiness for engineering builds
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) development and readiness
- Support Process Engineering team initiatives through resource coordination
- This position will require some international travel
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
- 1+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
- 1+ year of experience in technical product and program management, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, risk management, and critical path analysis
- Proven ability to manage programs across cross‑functional teams and ensure timely project delivery
- 1+ year of experience delivering consumer electronics products
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands‑on project management experience covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
- Mechanical Engineering background with the ability to participate effectively in design reviews and make technical decisions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Hands‑on experience working with external supplier teams
- 1+ years of experience delivering consumer electronics products
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum:
$44.23 per hour
Pay Range Maximum:
$70.00 per hour

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses subject to company policies.
