Bookkeeper – QuickBooks, Payroll & Operations Support
Location: College Park (Orlando) – minutes from Winter Park
Job Type: Part-time or Full-time (on-site)
Pay: $18–$28 per hour to start, depending on experience

*The Opportunity*
This is a key role for our next stage of growth. You’ll be the person who keeps our financial house in order day-to-day and also supports operations with important administrative and insurance-related tasks. Over time, you’ll own the books to the point where you’re confidently preparing clean financials for our CPA to handle year-end taxes.
We are open to part-time or full-time, depending on the right candidate’s experience and availability.
*What You’ll Do*
- Manage daily bookkeeping in QuickBooks
- Enter and categorize transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Make Purchase Orders and Synch them on Quickbooks
- Maintain an organized chart of accounts
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Process vendor bills and payments
- Record customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Prepare and file sales tax accurately and on time
- Process and maintain payroll (in coordination with management) <- Very Important
- Keep the books clean and ready to be turned over to our CPA for year-end tax preparation
- Support operations with:
- Workers’ compensation audits, certificates, and communication with the carrier
- Auto insurance updates (adding/removing vehicles and drivers, policy renewals)
- COIs (Certificates of Insurance) for clients and vendors
- Other financing and administrative tasks (bank requests, equipment financing paperwork, etc.)
- Help improve and document financial and administrative processes as the company grows
*What We’re Looking For*
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (small business or service/trades environment is a big plus)
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
- Experience filing sales tax and tracking deadlines
- Experience running or coordinating payroll
- Comfortable working with CPAs, insurance agents, banks, and vendors
- High attention to detail and accuracy—someone who likes clean books
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage priorities in a growing, fast-paced environment
- A true team player who is willing to collaborate with operations and management, not just “stay in the numbers”
- Looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with room to grow as the company grows
*Nice-to-Have Experience*
- Construction, trades, or service-based industries (low-voltage, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
- Workers’ comp audits and reporting
- Managing auto/fleet insurance details
- Creating and managing COIs
- Basic understanding of job-costing or project-based billing
