About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join our Data Intelligence team. This role is integral to our cloud-native development initiatives, focusing on building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications within an Azure environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Blazor, with a strong background in microservices architecture, containerization, and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions that support our strategic objectives, ensuring they are robust, secure, and maintainable. Additionally, this role involves mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to our Azure cloud strategy to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
As a senior member of the team, you will lead technical discussions, influence architecture decisions, and implement best practices for application security, performance, and scalability. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions to clients in healthcare, technology, and other enterprise sectors. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and modern web technologies. A strong background in C#, .NET Core, and Blazor is essential, along with extensive experience working within Azure cloud services such as App Services, Functions, SQL, and document databases. Proven expertise in microservices architecture, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS), and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or similar tools is required. Excellent communication skills, leadership experience, and a track record of mentoring junior engineers are also critical components of the qualification set.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Power BI embedded, Databricks, and familiarity with security best practices in Azure, such as IAM, Key Vault, and Managed Identities. Candidates with a background in financial services, health tech, or enterprise SaaS will have an added advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically expected, along with a demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technologies and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications utilizing C#, .NET Core, and Blazor within an Azure cloud environment.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices leveraging TypeScript, Node.js, and Azure Functions to facilitate seamless integrations and data processing.
- Lead discussions on Azure architecture, DevOps pipelines, and infrastructure as code, ensuring best practices are followed for deployment and security.
- Optimize application performance, ensure high availability, and implement security measures to safeguard data and services.
- Develop containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for deployment and scaling in the cloud.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX teams to develop intuitive interfaces and integrate front-end frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, or React.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
- Stay current on emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and process improvements.
