About The Role
We are seeking an experienced React JS Frontend Engineer with over 6 years of professional experience to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experience and meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of React.js and its core principles, along with strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern web development practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects, influence platform architecture, and mentor junior team members in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in frontend development, specifically with React.js. A strong foundation in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, is essential. Experience with React.js workflows, state management, and component lifecycle is required. Knowledge of REST APIs and modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Tokens is necessary. Familiarity with databases like Postgres, MongoDB, and Redis, along with experience on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, is highly desirable. Proficiency in source code control tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, and RhodeCode, as well as CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, is expected. Candidates should also have experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot are advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, curiosity about emerging technologies, and a startup mindset are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of software solutions, from initial concept through to production deployment. This includes working on a mix of greenfield and brownfield projects, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Mentoring junior developers and guiding the team on technical challenges and architecture decisions will be part of your role. Additionally, you will contribute to improving development processes, participate in code reviews, and ensure the implementation of scalable and maintainable solutions. Staying updated with industry trends and continuously enhancing your technical skills will be vital to your success.
