About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Engineer to join our rapidly expanding entertainment startup based in San Francisco. This pivotal role involves leading the development of the company's new React-based frontend platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in JavaScript and React, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance user interfaces in a production environment. As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding the frontend development team, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating closely with product managers and designers to create engaging digital experiences. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a significant focus on frontend development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and React is required, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining complex web applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of modern web development best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level frontend developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
