Role summary

Seeking an AI Data Engineer to architect, design, and deliver an enterprise-scale servicing and workflow automation platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in Python, AI/ML, LangChain, and LangGraph, with a proven ability to drive engineering excellence in complex distributed systems and AI-driven workflows. The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered at least one production-grade agentic AI solution and possess strong experience with NoSQL databases, asynchronous APIs, messaging systems, and microservices architectures. Familiarity with banking/financial services domains and cloud-native environments is also expected.

Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid Work

Duration: 10 Months Contract with Possible Ext.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to architect, design, and deliver an enterprise‑scale servicing and workflow automation platform. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural judgment, and a proven ability to drive engineering excellence across complex distributed systems and AI‑driven workflows.

This role requires AI Data Engineer who has successfully delivered at least one production-grade agentic AI solution. Deep experience in Python, AI/ML, LangChain, and LangGraph is critical.

Required Technical Skills:

Strong expertise in backend engineering and distributed system design
Advanced proficiency in Python, LangChain, and LangGraph
Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems; at least one agentic AI project taken to production
Strong experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Experience building and consuming asynchronous APIs
Practical experience with MCP, Kafka/queueing systems, and workflow engines
Familiarity with banking/financial services domains (KYC, onboarding, servicing, etc.)
Experience designing and deploying microservices architectures
Exposure to cloud-native environments (container orchestration, CI/CD, observability)
Understanding of enterprise-grade security, compliance, and scalability requirements
