The platform integrates several AI features including product recognition, wardrobe based styling recommendations, and personalized discovery systems. Our goal is to make fashion and beauty shopping more intuitive, intelligent, and personalized.

We are currently looking for a strong technical builder to join as a founding engineer to help build both the mobile application and the web platform that will power the StyleCast ecosystem.

This role will work closely with our backend and AI engineers to integrate intelligent features into the user facing product.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Full Stack and Mobile Engineer who can build high quality user facing products across mobile and web platforms.

You will be responsible for developing the StyleCast mobile application and core web experience, integrating with backend APIs and AI powered recommendation systems.

As a founding engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience, product architecture, and engineering direction of the platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building products from the ground up and wants to contribute to a platform that blends artificial intelligence with commerce and consumer technology.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain the StyleCast mobile application for iOS and Android using React Native

Develop the StyleCast web platform and consumer facing product interfaces using React and modern web frameworks

Integrate AI powered features such as product scanning, recommendation systems, and intelligent discovery tools

Connect mobile and web applications to backend APIs and data systems

Build intuitive user interfaces for fashion discovery, wardrobe management, and product recommendations

Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to integrate intelligent product features

Translate product requirements and PRDs into production ready user experiences

Optimize application performance and responsiveness across mobile and web environments

Contribute to technical decisions regarding front end architecture, frameworks, and product scalability

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience building modern web applications using React or similar frameworks

Experience building mobile applications using React Native or comparable cross platform technologies

Strong understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript and modern front end development practices

Experience integrating applications with backend APIs and cloud based services

Understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and mobile user experience

Comfort working in early stage startup environments with evolving product requirements

Ability to translate product concepts into high quality technical implementations

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams

Bonus Experience

Experience integrating AI driven features into applications

Experience with image capture or camera based features for mobile applications

Experience building commerce platforms, marketplaces, or consumer facing products

Experience with modern front end frameworks such as Next.js

Experience working with recommendation systems or personalized user experiences

Compensation

As an early stage startup, we are currently prioritizing product development and platform infrastructure investment.

At this stage, we are not offering traditional salary based compensation.

Instead, we offer meaningful long term upside through equity participation and revenue sharing.

This role is designed for builders who believe in long term ownership and want to help shape a company from the earliest stage.

As the platform grows, your stake and participation grow with it.

Equity allocation and profit participation will be discussed transparently and aligned with contribution level and commitment.
