Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead eCommerce Software Engineer with strong full-stack expertise to lead and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance eCommerce platforms. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both frontend and backend systems, guiding teams, and stepping in to solve complex technical challenges when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering teams in designing and developing scalable eCommerce solutions
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality features
- Drive best practices in software development, code quality, and system design
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
- Stay updated with industry trends, including AI integrations in eCommerce, and recommend innovative solutions
- Foster a culture of teamwork, empathy, and effective communication
Required Experience
- 8–10 years of overall software development experience
- 3–5 years in a leadership or lead capacity
- Proven experience leading teams and managing deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience working with cross-functional teams
Technical Skills
Frontend
- Strong expertise in React.js
- Component development & customization
